Be an art MAKER at Awesome Art Day on Saturday, January 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Victor Primary School cafeteria and auditorium. Awesome Art is a free, fun, family art enrichment event. Visit a variety of free art stations from beads to clay and more. You may even win a door prize raffle! Pizza and snacks will be for sale, and you can also Make-A-Plate to help raise funds for PIE. Also, PTSA Harlem Wizards game tickets available for purchase. On Tuesday, November 8, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Sandra Eller at 7:00 p.m. in the VIS Media Center. She is a college admissions consultant who will be presenting and answering questions about preparing for that next big step. Did you do your “hour of code”? The week of December 7 was “Hour of Code” week, encouraging everyone to invest an hour learning how to write some computer code. A number of VCS students took part, as you’ll see from the excerpt below from the weekly school newsletters and the Messenger Post article “They’re cracking the code at Victor, other Ontario County schools, taking part in world-wide computer science push”.
