Recycle, Eat Pizza to Support Robotics

Prepare to get rid of unwanted bikes, scrap metal, appliances, redeemable bottles and cans, electronics (no TVs or microwaves), and unexpired food at the Victor Robotics Recycle Drive on Saturday, April 9, 9am-1pm, at the VCS Auxiliary Parking Lot. All money raised supports ALL the Victor Robotics programs, Jr. VPS FLL Club, VIS FLL Club, VJH FTC Program, and VSH FRC Devil Tech Team 1559.

On April 19, 11am-11pm, head over to UNO Pizzeria & Grill for a “Doughraiser“, where UNO will donate up to 20% of your bill goes to support Victor Robotics. Bring this coupon. Continue reading

PIE Meeting April 5: Program Review, Plans for 2016-17

At tonight’s PIE Meeting, 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, at the VIS Media Center, we will review this year’s programs and begin setting up a plan for next year.   We have to look at dates for next year’s calendar.  We will also do a quick preview of the plan for FIRST Robotics programs next year, including the “gap” years in Jr. High. The Jr. FLL program brings together a group of kids with adult coaches to explore our world using LEGO bricks. The focus of the program is to have the kids use research, teamwork, and imagination to solve a real-world concept. Cool, right?
